CRUISE FROM ALLEPPEY
Alleppey or Alleppey also known as the " Venice of the East" , is famous for its boat races, houseboats, coir products, fish and lakes. Alleppey is one of the major centers for backwater tourism. Kuttanad located in Alleppey also known as the rice bowl of Kerala, is a place where farming is done below sea level, stretches for about 75km between sea and hills and is one of the most beautiful backwater regions in Kerala. Kuttanad is where majority of the snake boat races are conducted in Kerala, between July and September i.e. during the harvest season. Chavara bhavan, champakkulam church, karumadittun statue are few tourists attractions of Kuttanad.
